At Advanced Eyecare Center, our optometrist in Redondo Beach and Manhattan Beach knows that it is important to make sure that your vision insurance covers eye care. To give you peace of mind we have put together information on our insurance coverage and providers. Please review this information before you visit, to avoid an unpleasant surprise when it comes time to pay for your eye exam.
Eye Care Insurance Providers We Accept
You will be pleased to know that we accept most vision insurance plans at our optometry clinic. We would be happy to obtain an insurance authorization from your vision insurance provider before your next appointment. If you would like us to do this simply call and let us know. This also allows us to tell you what your co-pay will be, or let you know of any material benefits that you can use.
- Blue View Vision
- MES Vision
- Superior Vision
- VSP Premier
Since vision insurance plans differ, we encourage you to review the particular coverage that your plan offers, even if you see your vision insurer on our list of accepted providers. You may do so by calling the number on your vision insurance card.
If you do not see your insurance provider in the list above, we would be happy to do the research for you and let you know whether we can accept that insurance. Just call us.
Other Ways to Pay for Eye Care
We know that many of our patients have some type of health savings accounts or HSA, where pre-tax employment funds can be directed to a dedicated savings account for health spending. Depending on the vision services you are receiving, you may be able to use your health savings account to pay for some of the vision care services you receive. This is a great way to reduce your out-of-pocket medical expenses.
A flexible spending arrangement or FSA is another useful tool that allows you to pay for health care visits, co-pays, medical devices or supplies, medicated eye drops, and other health needs. If you have a flexible spending arrangement, you can use that account to pay for products purchased from our optometry clinic or cover your co-pay. If you have any questions about paying for your visit with an FSA, we would be happy to answer them prior to your visit.
